For the past two years, I have been Multimedia Editor for the Pitt Media staff, which was a first for our program. Over time, I've learned that one of the key parts of being an editor is knowing how to be an effective leader. I believe a successful editor leads by example, is both empathic and sympathetic, resilient, hard-working, good at communicating and empowering others.

The Pitt Media staff is like a family to me and because of that, I like to strengthen these skills in order for me to be a better version of myself for my staff. Whether it be through team building, editing, promoting our content and more, I do everything I can to set a good example for my staff and to help them grow as much as possible.
