My name is Lane Rozin Phifer and I am the Multimedia Editor for Pitt Media at Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Kansas. For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about storytelling.

When I joined student publications as a freshman, I envisioned myself only writing stories, designing yearbook spreads and taking photos. Two years later and I host a podcast, film a video series and mentor students. 

 

Joining the journalism program helped me discover my voice and improve my skills as a storyteller.

As a journalist, my job is to inform, educate and entertain but my greatest passion is to give a voice to the voiceless by telling their story. By doing so, I hope my work will change the world one story at a time.
